Linking
The process of
linking a deep page within a website from an earlier
page. For example, a direct link to page 5 of an 8
page series. This allows users to bypass certain
welcome type information that may not be necessary for
them to view or review.
Description Tag
This is a Meta
Tag found in the HTML code of a website page that
provides a description of the page or search engine
listings.
Domain Name
This is the
unique name of your website. For example, "www.MyWebsiteDomainName.com"
is a domain name.
Doorway Page
Web pages that
are setup specifically for search engines. Once the
visitor reaches the page, they are then redirected to
another website or webpage. Typically not a good
think in the SEO world, but there is such a thing as an
OK doorway page.

The use of
multiple, independent sections to create a single Web
page. Each frame is built as a separate HTML file but

A protocol used
